a hair stylist named yazzid

snippets of a conversation with my hair stylist, yazzid at "next" --
as accurate as my memory allows it to be:

[discussing what hair style i want...]
me: oh! and i want a tail at the back
yazzid: .. why??
me: i quite like it and i used to have one last time (mdm tham cut if off herself but that's another story for another day..)
yazzid: but it's quite ah lian...
(i try not to mention that the chain thing hanging from his pocket is quite a beng thing.. he's got a pair of scissors pointed at my head...)
me: but i like it..
yazzid: don't you want to look pretty and cool?
me: erm-
yazzid: does uni allow such things??
me: im going london
yazzid: worse still! don't you want to look cool??

yazzid: i didn't give you a tail the last time round right?
me: nope
yazzid: yea i wouldn't encourage such things!

.
yazzid: ok..i'll give you a tail but you'll look cool.. you know why?
me: er why..
yazzid: 'cause im cutting it!
me: er okae then!

yazzid: did you watch nacho libre?
me: nah.. is it any good?
yazzid: not worth $8/9+ for it..
(i just nod)
yazzid: want me to sing a song from it?
me: no!
yazzid: but why.. oh come on.. (then proceeds to sing it).. i am i am... (which is all he sings..)
me: (still cautious of the pair of scissors pointed at my head) er are you okae..
yazzid: what's wrong? it's saturday morning man.. come sing with me.. i am i am...
[if any one did watch nacho libre.. please tell me what the hell he's singing about..]

( the receptionist (?) goes up this spiral staircase that's next to where he's cutting my hair.. whilst wearing a mini skirt)
yazzid: woah..
me: (no comment)
(mini skirt girl comes down)
yazzid: wah too much man..
me: (no comment)

yazzid: so when you're in london i'll come visit you ok?
me: er okae..

.
yazzid: so will you visit me before you go london?
me: er im visiting you now? =D
yazzid: no don't you want to visit me again before you go?
me: er septemeber is about one month away..
yazzid: (pauses to think...) oh! i thought it was a few more months.. ok ok..

.
.
yazzid: visit me when you come back in december
me: ok!

yazzid: ok im going to try and camouflage your tail a bit and make it look cool..
[snip snip cut cut]
[at the end..]
yazzid: actually it looks quite cool.. i really like it..
me: (internally.. hah!)

well.. that's yazzid for you =) really cool guy who's pretty nice.. he's one of those guys who has ear hole enlargers (i miss mine..) and can pull off the blazer-over-simple-shirt-paired-with-jeans-look =)
[and on a side note.. my boy can pull it off too though he's in total denial of it -.- ]

and this may be me being a little on the slow side but i love the renovations they did at "next"! that semi-gothic chandelier is absolutely goregous and i really like the patterne0d grey wall paper and those leather single couch seats that replaces the usual swivel chair.. =D

oh and if anyone goes to "next" at holland say hi to him for me! oh and if you do decide to let him cut your hair.. er be prepared for a long cut.. think mine took abt 1.5hrs.. but i ended up with a cool semi-pixie`ish cut that im very happy with =)
