friends

it's about 5 in the morning over in singapore.. and about 10 at night over here in london (7 hours difference.. till end of october where it becomes a difference of 8 hours.. er daylight saving time.. don't ask..)

and everyone over in singapore is sleeping.. and rightly so.. and i don't know.. it just gets pretty lonely during this hour.. alone in my hostel room with hardly anyone to talk to online.. my other flat mates more or less hidden in their own rooms too.. and yes i do realise that this sounds pretty pathetic and no i neither expect or want anyone of you over in singapore to be awake to keep me online..

email me or something if you don't catch me online!

thanks to all who called me up before i left, who met up with me for some last minute "bonding", for all who gave me farewell presents etc... and especially to the bunch of you who woke up early to send me off..

(in no order whatsoever and more tuned in relation towards my departure..)
thanks yong xi for sending me and helping me tell my friends that i was leaving and trying to get a group together to send me off.. and especially for the honey bubble milk tea at the airport!
thanks shirah for the very yummy daim sweets! (even though the added to the weight of my already extremely heavy hand carry luggage)
thanks fiona for the long-awaited burned cds of one tree hill.. fully pirated-looking, and with it's complementing pirated casing.. to which the guy who checked my luggage eyed suspicously..

and to everyone else who didn't meet up with me or sent me off or even weren't really aware of when i was leaving.. i'll smack you if you feel bad or whatever crap (and no im not trying to be ego bleh!).. never quite like the whole meet ups or whatever before i go.. it just all feels pretty ominous and funeral-like or something? and i agree with clement.. i rather go off quietly..

er having said that.. i do want to meet up wtih people when i'm back in singapore for my winter break!

i miss the familiarity and comfort of having friends easily reached 24/7..
