my room!
right now i'm just somewhat focusing on my laptop and the mind numbing effect of random surfing on the internet.. and ignoring all physical space surrounding my laptop (have i mentioned how beautiful my mac laptop is?).. the physical space being my messy room.. the state that it is in right now is more or less what my father would term "war-torn zone".. and i realised i haven't posted pictures of my room so here you go! -
so this is how it looked when i first moved in..

this is how it looked when i moved in..

this is how it looked the night before my first proper project submission..
and er just take my word for it that you don't want to see the state that it is in now.. but of course it's still not as bad as my friend's room :

and yes.. this photo deserves to be bigger than the rest to emphasize her mess and to er.. help you gain at least a morsel of the full impact of it =D
[and to clement.. hah! told you there was someone out there who's even messier than me! there! photographic evidence!]
[that's katy's room.. she was one of the girls in my "madness series".. if you're wondering how she sleeps on that bed.. to loosely quote her, "i curl up in one corner quite like the way a rat (or was it rodent) would".. and if you're wondering how she finds anything in her room.. she crawls around and says she has to look at things on her floor at eye level.. the other day, she did 20 minutes of crawling around to find her keys... er yupp..]
my hostel (or halls of residence as they call it over here) is one of the better ones i think.. it's only two years old.. conveniently located to the tube station, library (never used it), an art gallery (really must go in soon), supermarkets, temptingly and painfully wonderful sunday (flea/vintage/etc) markets that that occur on sundays.. i get my own room with a shared common kitchen with 4 other people (some who are disgustingly disgusting when it comes to keeping the kitchen somewhat clean..).. a really puny miniscule (ok fine maybe im exaggerating but seriously, one panel is just not enough) cupboard for my clothes.. but on quite a plus side, i have my own toilet =D a toilet that is tiny (not exaggerating here) and that will set off the fire alarm and in turn cost me twenty five freaking pounds if i don't shut the door whilst i bathe (steam -.-).. but nonetheless.. i have my own room and own toilet =) pretty damn vital if you ask me..
and so that concludes my rubbishy obligatory sinceihaven'tbloggedinquiteawhileorbloggedregularly post essentially about my room..
stay tune for future posts about shopping, food, art and other random stuff!
